"Şanlıurfa Sarayönü (Red Crescent) Square Project" as an urban acupuncture intervention area. Based on our literature review and observation data specific to Şanlıurfa city center  One of the seven acupuncture intervention points we have determined is "Sarayönü" square. With reference to jinn medicine  Defined as "Acupuncture", it is accepted as "a small-scale intervention to create a positive and widespread effect" in urban studies. This proposal is an urban acupuncture project because;
- It is short term.
- It aims to serve the existing social fabric.
- It has adopted the principle of using the resources and values of the area.
- It has adopted the principle of increasing the social capital of the city.

- It has adopted the principle of increasing the resilience of the city.

- It was designed with inspiration from the historical and cultural identity of the area.
